    Multi-Rotor for Master's Thesis

Have you considered a fixed wing for this project? It can cover a large area and has longer flight times. Just point the camera down and set to continuous mode. Just a thought...

    Orientation, what's the secret?

You don't say?! Actually every single person mentioned practise, hence the joke!

$65K drone crashed: why you should never touch your copter while it is airborne :)

Really, he spent 65K on a heli after losing his job? Why did he let it go? It's like he just gave up.

    Orientation, what's the secret?

How come no one has mentioned practise yet? Practise practise practise (three P's for me) Okay, I'll P-off now......:nevreness:

    GH3 WiFi set up

Hi mate, Good questions so I'll try to make a good answer. We don't use wifi on a multirotor as it can interfere with the 2.4GHz control. You'll need to transmit the video signal through a 5.8GHz FPV transmitter via the HDMI port on the GH3. For the second camera you'll likely need another...

Zenmuse GH2 and Naza strange behavior?

Sorry, feeling preachy tonight for some reason, it's the white wine! Many people don't look past the thread title to be honest. What exactly is your question(s)?

High altitude F550 hexacopter crash after motors stop. Anyone know why?

Now that is a proper response. Keep it up. :02.47-tranquillity:

$65K drone crashed: why you should never touch your copter while it is airborne :)

Good lord! Seriously, it took them a whole minute to work out how to kill the motors? What a beautiful aircraft though! I want one!

Zenmuse GH2 and Naza strange behavior?

They show up. I think it is because you tend to not respond to what people post on your threads sometimes and your topic titles are a little misleading occasionally. Don't be afraid to ask an honest question. :nevreness: This thread should be titled 'Is anyone using a NAZA V2 with their Zenmuse...

High altitude F550 hexacopter crash after motors stop. Anyone know why?

Kind of the response I expected from you to be honest... As long as you don't mean Canada where the law states: The letter of the law states: (We make no interpretations of this) 602.45 No person shall fly a model aircraft or a kite or launch a model rocket or a rocket of a type used in a...

How to do flips and rolls query

Easy really. In manual mode just hold the cyclic stick back to do a flip. Usually you would also reduce throttle during the move. Do it high up to start with as you'll likely lose a little altitude at first. Cool?

High altitude F550 hexacopter crash after motors stop. Anyone know why?

The legal limit is 122m (400ft) above ground level in the UK and the USA. You have just posted videos of you committing a crime if in one of these countries. Where did these flights take place? (it's better that I say it than someone who matters) :nevreness:

Zenmuse GH2 and Naza strange behavior?

If you go cheap, which is what I'm assuming you are trying to do, then you will have problems. Don't say I haven't warned you! WKM is designed for heavier aircraft. That said, I know of people who are using it successfully on S800's and the like, not with a Zenmuse though. How many people do...

first multirotor build, kit or separately?

Ah, gotcha! I personally, for a first build, would start with a kit where you are certain all the components work together. Just my two cents of course! I started with a DJI F550, all stock, two years ago. Still got it and it flies the same as it did when I first put it together. Never had to...

first multirotor build, kit or separately?

I went with a kit and built it myself. It was an excellent decision! I wish I had built my own car also because if it was to break down I would know how to fix it. It's daunting at first but the feeling of seeing something you built take-off and do awesome stuff is just brilliant! Highly...

Zenmuse GH2 and Naza strange behavior?

I just wouldn't put a premium product like the Zenmuse with anything less than premium controlling it. Go for decent quality and get decent results!

Zenmuse GH2 and Naza strange behavior?

I would highly recommend the WKM for the Zenmuse GH2. I haven't heard many people using the NAZA with it, but that doesn't mean they aren't any. Go on, get a WKM, you know you want too...:nevreness:
