Fair enough. I am a little biased having flown NAZA (V1) and WKM for a couple of years without incident, and they have earned me quite a bit of money also. I only really see major problems reported with the A2.

Oh, that kind of friction noise, hmm, not so good then. I always assume you need to balance stuff, even when they say RTF or pre-balanced. I'd try to balance it myself and see if you can get it to work.

Just balance it yourself. Lower the bottom plate until it is balanced or lower the rear pole thing. How would you know that the pan motor makes a noise? Did you power it up without the camera on, that's a no no. All gimbals need a bit of balancing. If you are a pro it's a skill you'll need to learn.

Huh? That's just another gimbal that, wait for it, pans! Gimbals pan, that's what they do. I don't think you understood my comment. This is how everyone does it, you hover in one place and pan the gimbal (which pans on the spot). It is the same as a ground mounted system. Yawing the aircraft...

Well, I know I always say this but GensAce are just awesome. Great quality. I personally go for around 40C lipos as I find them longer lasting, and in my mind it's best to use over rated components and give them an easy time by under utilising them.

With ResourceUAS you do an online test before the ground school which covers most of what will be in the written exam. For BNUC-S, the handbook covers what's in the exam.

Sure, except there's no way to get it in the air at the moment and it's a new and untested gimbal. You can still use paralinx and teradek, you'd just need an extra long cable that you plug in once the Zen has done it's calibration dance. Not ideal but it works.
