Problem with the camera shutter work on Sony NEX 5n

Hmmm, it should work via HDMI with the Zenmuse. Do the controls work when the Zenmuse is connected to the computer?

FPV Grand Prix (UK - Summer 2015)

I'm keen. Sounds exciting. I am also toying with the idea of a permanent drone racing site, like laser tag, where users turn up and use either our equipment or theirs. I considered buying a forest or plot of land for it. Let me know if you need anything.

No image on GH3 but shutter releases

Same problem, no solution posted: http://www.multirotorforums.com/threads/trigger-turns-off-live-view.23664/#post-197345 This is about the GH4 version but is essentially the same (it's a long thread but have a read through as something might be a clue)...

No image on GH3 but shutter releases

Hey John, Any luck yet? Tried PAL/NTSC settings? There' a few posts on the forum about this, I'll see if I can find them. :)

No image on GH3 but shutter releases

Yeah, it says Tv Output in progress when you try to view videos or pics. I'm pretty sure it's still a camera setting so honestly, do sit down and go through every setting on the GH3 systematically. For stills and video I use Manual (M). So you do get an image on your monitor when not...

I think you go to a different menu (the first menu) a few pages in you'll see HDMI REC Output or something. Have a look at those settings. Might need to play with NTSC/PAL also.

No image on GH3 but shutter releases

Hey John, Try setting HDMI out to 1080i or something like that. It's the live view that is the problem I think. When you review a video on the camera does that transmit?

What system are you using? It's usually an HDMI out setting on the GH3 itself. All depends what system you're running.

    Hello, hello!

Hi mate, For your budget I'd look at the Phantom vision which has a built in camera. Pretty much ready to fly and you'll just need an iPhone to see the video on. Any help?

Official ARRI ALEXA Mini Renters' Thread

I had a play with one yesterday. 2.3kg for just the body. Nice interface and hardly any buttons!

WKM, S900 (7kg), gaining altitude on yaw in atti, & GPS stop.

Ignore EuroUSC. The CAA doesn't require most of the things that they ask. All the CAA want is someone to certify pilot competency, and that's it. I'd go for the IMU V2 personally. It's nice and heavy so less prone to vibration. Cool? ;)

WKM, S900 (7kg), gaining altitude on yaw in atti, & GPS stop.

I'm not sure. I've been flying the IMU V2 for around 18 months so can't really remember if there was a big difference. I think mine had symptoms similar to yours (in fast forward flight it would lose height) hence why I added the V2 back in the day. All good now! The hole on the side of the IMU...

Hmmm, that all sounds fine then. I have an IMU V2 and on the latest firmware. Let us know how you get on.

WKM, S900 (7kg), gaining altitude on yaw in atti, & GPS stop.

Okay, that is quite a huge amount! I think it's more fundamental than vibration. I'd double check my IMU/GPS positions on the assistant program. Maybe have a look at your transmitter and check for an errant mix that may be causing it (something like rudder>throttle). Recalibrate your...

How much is a lot of altitude? GPS is only accurate to within 2m altitude according to the manual.

Panasonic GH4 transmits on playback, but not live feed.

It's usually an HDMI out setting on the GH4 I believe. Set to PAL, auto downconvert or 1080p and maybe try live view frame rate (I have mine on 60fps I think).
