Hey Jeff, I'm using that one now. It's really much better than the other. I had mine off for a week and it acquired a lock in about a minute. If I fly every day, it'll lock on in about 15 seconds.

I haven't tried the carefree mode yet. I'm not sure I really understand it. I've become pretty good at nose-in flying but I'm sure that carefree mode could help a fella out at times. I agree with the GPS. I like it. I trust it. Kinda. The RTH does indeed work nicely.

Good point. All the lettering should be pointed up. They will fly the other way but not efficiently.

I don't recommend my treatment of batteries on anyone. I kinda do the same. Fly for a timed amount, maneuvering and whatnot, and then bring it in and practice low level hovering until I have to increase throttle a good amount to keep it in the air. I then set it down.
