Hoverfly Gimbal setup can only save one axis

May have found my own answer. After saving the servo configuration, I powered the gimbal off and back on and it's seems to work fine on both axes. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Hoverfly Gimbal setup can only save one axis

I know I've seen this question before somewhere but after getting frustrated searching the forum and Hoverfly help, I'm giving up and asking again. In servo setup, I seem to seem able to configure one axis and save it but not pitch and roll both. I tried enabling, closing and saving one axis...

Hobby King Not safe to deal with

Pete Take pics showing the battery pack hooked up to the charger or meter showing the low cell or the error message. Get a pic showing the front of the battery as well as the side with the warranty sticker. Make sure that the battery is clearly shown hooked up to the charger with the reading...

Hobby King Not safe to deal with

I guess I got lucky but HobbyKing treated me okay recently and since I was all set to blast them, I should probably also relate the good treatment. Ordered 3 4S Nanotechs on 3/6. To my surprise, they showed up at my door on 3/9 with standard shipping. Two charged up right away but one...

Shall I get rid of Manual Mode?

To enter compass calibration, you rapidly move the mode switch from position 1 to position 3, which is normally manual. I don't know if position 3 must be manual for this to work, haven't tried to check it out. That's the only possible drawback I can think of.

    Hoverfly Hoverfly GPS

Just so I'm clear here, if your screws are the stainless alloy that is non-magnetic, are they still a problem or can they be used safely without causing mag interference?

    Hoverfly Hoverfly GPS

Are all stainless alloys magnetic (I think thats the term I'm looking for)? I'm building a Rusty's frame and the fasteners with the frame weren't attracted to a moderately strong magnet I tried to pick them up with.

    camera question for you guys

For portrait photography, a slightly longer than normal focal length is generally considered to give the better perspective for faces so stick to the upper end of your zoom lens. Extremely backlit scenes are tough. The simplest way to combat it is with a fill flash. There are a number of...

    GPS cable and magnetic interference

Photronics just posted an interesting video in Hoverfly forum demonstrating the degree of mag interference which could affect magnetometers in GPS units. That led me to wonder; I can mount the GPS unit as far as possible from suspected mag sources but the cable is very long and I always seem to...

Help with AG550 and NEX5N fitting with HDMI cable

I need some help getting my NEX5N to fit on my AG550v1.5 with an HDMI cable. Enclosed is a pic of the tray. With the camera installed, there is less than 1/2 in clearance on the side. I have tried a couple of cables including an ultra-thin and a right angle and they don't come close to...

    Sony Nex-5n - downlink

Here's my tray. Wonder if it looks like yours. I have v1.5 and that may be one of the differences but I still don't see how to fit a HDMI cable in there. As near as I can tell, I placed my order on July 31 and they stopped taking orders on Aug 1 in anticipation of the revamped version. Should...

    Sony Nex-5n - downlink

I don't have two slots in my tray and i don't see anyway to adjust the tray itself. I'll send a pic when I get back home. I should have the latest version, I purchased mine apparently right before they took it off the site in anticipation of the newer model. I wasn't too happy about that. If...
