Futaba R6208SB in Fast Mode with NAZA

SMP... well this is odd. I have two R6208SB Rx, one in Normal and the other is Fast mode. When using the Normal mode Rx the helicam flies like it's drunk. The Fast Rx shows no unusual flying behaviors. Other replies would be appreciated. -Bob

Video of Naza-m v2 dropping rev and sinking in lake

If you were using a GoPro with the wireless option turned on (blue light flashing) and did not have your Fail Safe configured correctly this could be your problem. http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?14528-GoPro-wireless-option-linked-to-NAZA-flyaways -Bob

GoPro wireless option linked to NAZA flyaways

What I find interesting is that DJI has an optional Bluetooth feature on their flight controllers. Wanting to eliminate all possible interference with the flight controller is this also a risk?

GoPro wireless option linked to NAZA flyaways

Tahoe Ed.... Another possible issue.. Several of the cameras attached to MC's for video and photography have wifi built into them. My Sony Nex 5r has this option. Any thoughts on this being a problem child for interference? -Bob

Brushless Gimbals and the 550 what do you recommend.

It all depends on the camera. if you are going to use just the GoPro the Beholder gimbal was an easy build and works without issues for me. http://www.cnchelicopter.com/servlet/the-2600/Beholder-GoPro-Brushless-Gimbal/Detail

GoPro wireless option linked to NAZA flyaways

I've been chasing an odd flight problem lately that resulted in my MC switching into Fail Safe just after takeoff. After contacting the DJI distributor my suspicions have been confirmed. When using the built-in wireless feature in the HERO GoPro during flight it will conflict with the DJI NAZA...

    GoPro Bluetooth frequency interference

With the recent posts about 'flyaways' and such I started wondering if the GoPro with Bluetooth option turned on might be causing some interference with the Tx. According to what I've read Bluetooth does frequency hopping and transmits from 2.402 GHz to 2.480 GHz. Does anyone with a background...

NAZA v.2 new feature really works

No rotation. It started out doing a little wobble or two so I switched it into Failsafe Mode and waited for the return home flight. While it was descending i noticed that one of the props was not turning. Once landed I checked for the problem and found that the prop nut had worked loose. I...

NAZA v.2 new feature really works

I had read that one of the new features of the new NAZA software upgrade is that if a motor fails on a hex setup it would still land.... During a checkout flight today one of the prop nuts became loose.... and it landed! What an amazing sight, five props turning and one prop doing nothing...

    New Sony A7.

I'm so confused... the new GoPro 3+ will shot a 2.7k file at 30fps.... isn't that good enough? *smile* Seriously, aren't most of the top fly-boys shooting at 24fps anyway? Unless you are doing Hollywood assignments the raw footage from the GH3 or NEX 5.6,7 should be very acceptable.... right...

    HDMI Converter setup

I just received a converted HDMI card for my Sony NEX5. There were no instructions... the label on the converter shows four wires, two for video and two for power. There are only three wires coming out of the converter, brown, red and mustard colored... just like a servo wire. Can anyone help...

Carbon Fiber Props Deteriorating ~ Failing

When I did the flex test on the motors I applied very little pressure and heard the popping sound. And after removing I used very little effort to flex the props and they all folded in at the hub.

Carbon Fiber Props Deteriorating ~ Failing

Kloner, Funny you should mention those props as I just received that type Saturday. What I cant figure out is how to mount them. The prop hubs I'm using now are designed for a single threaded screw. The flat props I just received have three mounting holes. I've look everywhere for the correct...
