    Savox servos

I seem to recall that they are the same as Futaba but have no way to confirm at the moment. Ken

You might find this useful... http://www.1001copters.com/en/av200/77-av200-battery-tray.html Yesterday I received the V2 upgrade kit and parts I ordered from 1001 for my AV130, from France to my mailbox in only a few days :) I removed the 130 from the Cinestar and have it 75% rebuilt with the...

Does having more motors make for a smoother yaw?

Can't say I fully agree, I currently have the WKM on a Cinestar 6 and I'm quite happy with the way it flys, I tried MK and the YS on it as well and the best setup so far has been the WKM. The AD6 will be the third frame I've had the YS on, it does fly well when properly setup and the firmware is...

Does having more motors make for a smoother yaw?

I agree. When I had my first WKM setup as a Y6 I had none of the problems I see in the video, it was rock solid on all axis and the only reason I don't still fly it is because all of the electronics now reside on my Cinestar 6. On the other hand the H/F Pro I currently have setup on my Droidworx...

Immersion RC RX PPM to Naza

I think DJI used a Futaba mapping for the channels, nice if you're using a Futaba radio with PPM, pretty useless for anthing else. I agree they need a setup window to set channel mappings and a few other things as well. I'd also like to see the Naza have RTH on low voltage warning like the WKM...

I've got mine working quite well at the moment. The remaining issues I'm having are likely mechanical with the AV130 gimbal itself, this one has been bent up a few times and straightened/rebuilt so its not buttery smooth on the roll axis nor is it perfectly aligned in all dimensions. Last...

    Mikrokopter Updating firmware

It's hit or miss (mostly miss) trying to update the Mag board while it's installed in the stack. The only way I've found to reliably do the firmware update on the MK3Mag is to connect directly to the Navi with nothing else but the Mag connected to it, or solder a set of header pins to the Mag...

If you are emailing Kim directly it will be a while before you get a response. I have another email address for sales/parts that usually gets me a next day reply at worst. PM me and I'll let you know where to send the email. Ken

What's up with the GoPro naked for $129.99

A real GoPro replacement lens is close to $100, you'd be better off just buying one of the $129 new Hero HD from Best Buy and keeping the old one for parts. A Sunex non-fisheye lens is around $50, some of the other non-GoPro replacement lens cost more than the Sunex and IMO aren't even as good...

What's up with the GoPro naked for $129.99

I bought one to replace one of the ones I already have that has slammed into mother earth one too many times. While the old one still records, the LCD is broken and it thinks it's in live video out mode all the time even though it's actually turned off in the firmware. The $129 GoPro is the...

How to program DJI Naza GPS to freeze at signal loss?

WKM or Naza with GPS there are two options for failsafe (loss of signal from control TX and not to be confused with second stage low voltage if it is turned on), landing and return to home. RTH point is where the motors were started after the GPS has acquired a minimum of 6 satellites shown as a...

Before I changed the iso o-rings I did a test where I "hard mounted" the gimbal to the Cinestar by tywrapping the iso mounts so there was no movement. That did eliminate the soft twitch I'm seeing now but the hard mounting introduced other issues. Looking at the whole thing as a systems...

Other than the issue I'm having with the Cinestar isolation mounts, I think I've finally found the sweet spot for the RSGS on my setup. I changed the orings in the iso mounts and removed a pair from each in the process, the old ones were definitely harder and less flexible than the new ones so...

Wookong-M 5.12a unbelievable behavior and ultimate crash

Not the failsafe I was referring to. What I meant was setting the control positions on the TX that the RX will default to on loss of signal from the TX, done when binding the RX to the TX. If you skipped this step then it's quite possible that the failsafe setting the RX used was high throttle...

Wookong-M 5.12a unbelievable behavior and ultimate crash

Was failsafe setup on the TX/RX when doing the binding? The description sounds like a loss of TX signal coupled with failsafe either not setup or setup incorrectly, on loss of signal it went to full throttle and flew off and eventually did go into failsafe and attempted to return home. On the...

Did a lot of flying over the last three days using the RSGS on the AV130. I haven't changed the settings at all from the last flight video I posted but I seem to have gotten somewhat better results out in the field than I did testing at the house. It was very windy each day at the field but both...

Naza GPS RTH from a lower altitude then Home

A very good question that I don't know the answer to, never had the opportunity to try it. Please let us know what happens when you try and make sure you're ready to turn off failsafe and takeover control if it decides to find home in the middle of the mountain. Ken

Do you know what the GoPro Hero 2 FPV delay is?

I use a GoPro as the pilot cam on two of my FPV multis. If there is any appreciable delay it's nothing to worry about unless you plan on flying around at 40 to 50 mph with a lot of obstacles all the time, then it might make a tiny difference but I doubt it. Ken
