Before I buy - your experienced input please.....?

Hi Dale! I would echo Boris's recommendation. Get a Naza kit, $460, all you need is a receiver, lipos and a charger. It flys very well and if you crash it is very strong. You can add FPV equipment to it later. The CX4 frame is great and really pricy, if you want to buy once and keep for a...

Naza - Transmitter set up in Assistant Video

Since there have been so many questions on how to set up the transmitter in the Naza Assistant I put together this video so people can see how it needs to look. I hope this helps.

    Setting up RTH

Robvree, I understand that you use the knob to adjust the gains from your transmitter. When you bind the transmitter to the receiver to set failsafe it takes all the settings in the transmitter and stores them in the receiver. Those are the settings the receiver defaults to when signal is...

New 4.26 firmware, anyone loaded it yet?

Good luck Ken! I am thinking about converting my MK standard hexa to the WKM. The WKM deserves a better frame than what it is on now and I need some more real estate to fit the Data Link and vTx. I am going to miss my satellite receivers on the diversity board. Let us all know how it goes...

    Setting up RTH

Kilby: I can only comment on how my JR 9503 radio is set up with an AR8000 Rx. To set up failsafe in the Rx, I did the following. If you have a switch set up to trigger failsafe then you can turn that switch on, if not move the travel of the mode switch so you get failsafe indicated in the...

New 4.26 firmware, anyone loaded it yet?

Gunter: They did you can find it under release notes. Here is what has changed for this version. What’s new?  In “Cut Off Type”-“Immediately” Mode: By using this mode, in any control mode, once motors start and throttle stick is over 10%, motors will stop immediately when throttle stick is...

Thanks for clarifying that Geoff. That was part of my original question to Rob.

    Naza help needed

Airconrob, how are you trimming the Naza? Are you using the assistant to adjust the gains or are you using the transmitter? If you are using the Assistant you need to click "write" located at the top of the window. If you are trimming with the transmitter then you need to "read" the settings...

    Naza Camera Mount by DJI

Ok, I am not sure if this is the same mount but I am sure that they will be similar. I am looking forward to the results.

    Naza Camera Mount by DJI

I looked for it but could not find it. Maybe you could provide me with a link. You may be right but right now we don't have confirmation from either mfg. Thanks!

Will it fly with 10" props?

Ok, I took a stab at it and it doesn't look like you have enough power to hover.

    Naza Camera Mount by DJI

Austin, Gary T just said he would be testing the mount. I have never seen Sidney show anything that was not DJI. Time will tell.

    Naza Camera Mount by DJI

Sidney just posted this over on RCG along with a repost of the hexa plate for the F450 legs. Looks like a nice little GoPro mount. I wonder if it will fit the hexa as well?

    20 minute flight - Flamewheel 450

Excellent with temps that low! When I put mine on the charger, the voltage was .6v above the Naza cutoff and I put back about 82%. I have my new 3S 2.65A lipos soldered up and charged. Thank you Santa! My FPV set up is now working so tomorrow will be a little fpv with some just flying around...

Will it fly with 10" props?

Gunter: What does e-Calc say? Here is the link: http://www.ecalc.ch/xcoptercalc_e.htm. I would put the information in for you but I do not have enough info from your post. Ed

    New vTX and Antennas

I finally got my vTx and vRx to communicate with one an other. First was the incompatibility between the two, RC305 vRx's do not work with Immersion vTx's. Got that fixed with an Airwave vRx. Connect everything up with my BlueBeam cloverleaf antennas and nothing. Went back to the whip...

    Hi from Western Washington USA

Ron we welcome you to the new world of RC multi's. If you are getting a kit and have been researching the F450/Naza, I can recommend it. It is a great reentry into the RC world. All you need is a Tx, Rx, Lipos and a Charger. You will be up and flying and smiling in no time. Welcome back!

    Building an FPV Naza

Gunter, I think that the F450/Naza combo is a great FPV system. I would stay with the Naza kit as the components seem to work very well together. You can mix and match but why? With the Naza you will not need a buzzer. Just set up the battery monitor to match the 3S batteries. It will land...
