That is correct. But you need the WKM for a connection to the ZenMuse and you can choose your FC as you wish. I am waiting for the upgrade to the WKH to support the ZenMuse. The firmware should be out by now to support the Ace One.

Hexacopter, I sold my Dx8 and I am basing my opinion on my JR9503 which is very similar.

Mine is Flight Mode: Flap Switch, Gear: Gear Switch, Flap: Flap Switch, Aux2: Aux2 Switch. It looks like your problem is you have the Flap inhibited. You need to enable it. Switch FMode to Flap SW. The rest seems ok.

No you need to connect the ZenMuse to a WKM to make it work. It uses the sensors from the WKM to adjust the orientation and stabilization.

You can use the Fmode switch on the Dx8 by connecting the Aux1 from your receiver to the U channel of the Naza or the WKM for that matter. Then you have to enable the Fmode in the menu. I put the Gear on X1 and Aux2 on X2. Works well for me.

If you have a WKM purchased before 2/1/12 you need to contact DJI concerning the outputs of F1 and F2 on an Octo. There is an issue with that MC. They posted a video on how to check for the problem on their YouTube channel. I have already received a replacement unit from them for this problem.

Denny, I am not a Pro only a hobby user. If I wanted a 3 Axis Z15, I could have one in 3 days. In my opinion, without retracts the 3 axis is over kill, plus I would need a camera operator. Not where I am at right now. I can be patient and I am hoping to save some money over the 3 axis.
