nice idea. The advantage in not using flat cut pieces is you can do something like that. I have been suffering here trying to figure out a cheap easy way to make a locking hinge that will bolt to my flat cut legs.

Ben, is there any noticeable benefit over 8.02? I still don't see taking any risks without a significant GPS improvement. The previous firmware is not able to get any better IMHO.

The servo leads have +/- and signal. All that is needed is a signal wire. The esc will get its power from the main battery. The rx will get its power from another source which you will need to provide if the red wire is cut. I think you will be ok with 2 sources of power as they are bussed in...

Are you retiring from dji? Kidding. I think the apc and group ears would out last the motors. Wood props probably last a damn long time too assuming they are balanced. But I don't know if thre is some molecular change induced from sun and centrifugal force.
