it just depends what you want to lift. That will be more than enough for the standard gimbal, gh2/3, t2i,nex,cx760 type camera. but even a dslr with a nice lens with a av200/360 can start weighing a lot. Plus, those graupners dont make a lot of lift at all. they are just really nice props...

IMHO 2814's are too small for a heli that large. You will be limited to a 1.5-2lb camera. If i had a frame that big i would be on 6s with 3515's and 14" prop minimum. Thats the whole point in having a large frame, so you can swing larger props. Then again, maybe a 1000mm isnt even big enough...
