Thats surprising as normally antennas are supposed to be down on the heli and up on the ground. You sure about that? COuld be deceiving if the antenna was in a high RFI area. Sometimes just moving the antenna 1/2" can make a huge difference.

My vote is for Premiere Pro. Great integration with other adobe software. Imovie would do everything you need to do with your basic editing. Using a NLE is not hard, you are just cutting and pasting clips for the most part, adding some fades.
