cannot get motors to spin up after upgrading to latest 2.02 firmware and 1.8 assistan

OK, that makes some sense to me as well. I will do a brand new acro setujp and see what happens using the 1.6 assistant first off. This thing used to fly just great which is why it is so weird. The only difference is the frame being used. I will report back once I have tried a complete acro...

cannot get motors to spin up after upgrading to latest 2.02 firmware and 1.8 assistan

AFAIK the ESC's do not need calibrating... I have tried the throttle in atti and GPS mode. I do not like manual mode.

cannot get motors to spin up after upgrading to latest 2.02 firmware and 1.8 assistan

Hi folks First many thanks for all your feedback so far, but I am still struggling with this. I have even gone back to 2.01 and the 1.6 assistant, and still have problems. Some background first may help, This quad is an X format built up from an older Xaircraft 525 frame, using the old...

cannot get motors to spin up after upgrading to latest 2.02 firmware and 1.8 assistan

Just tried that as well 2Tall - same response. If I do start it using the throttle hold switch, it does not reach anything like full throttle either, and what is also weird is that it is not responding to cyclic controls at all. Something really weird going on here.

cannot get motors to spin up after upgrading to latest 2.02 firmware and 1.8 assistan

Hi 2Tall Just tried that as well, seems like a good ploy, but sadly I can still only start the motors with throttle hold ON.

cannot get motors to spin up after upgrading to latest 2.02 firmware and 1.8 assistan

KLONER - Whatever settings I try in my DSX9, I cannot get the throttle to go to absolute full. I have tried it at 150% and 100% - no change. Interestingly, I checked my throttle hold setting, which was set to -5%, so decided to try to do the CSC with TH ON. Presto, it spooled up, but it is...

cannot get motors to spin up after upgrading to latest 2.02 firmware and 1.8 assistan

Just created a brand new heli model. (acro never seems to work on my DSX9) Bars are moving almost all the way, and are exactly centered before hitting finish and then Write. Still got no motor initialization, even if trying the standard(non CSC method) Another odd ball - Every time I start the...

cannot get motors to spin up after upgrading to latest 2.02 firmware and 1.8 assistan

Hi Kloner Yep, redone the sticks, tried saving them with throttle full down and at half way. The LED is Green + flashing reds in GPS mode, Orange + flashing reds in Attitude and just flashing reds in manual. IOC is all set up too. The only way I got any life out of it was to reverse the...

cannot get motors to spin up after upgrading to latest 2.02 firmware and 1.8 assistan

I recently upgraded my assistant etc as above, and had to reset some data on some of the tabs. Previously it was working fine Now I cannot get the motors to spin up no matter how I move both sticks. I have the start speed set to RECOMEND, my manual/attitude/GPS switch is set correctly, as is...

XAircraft X650 - What gimble do people recommend?

I recently bought a nice gimbal from ReadymadeRC that I believe is made by JDrones. It comes as a kit, made up of well cut fibreglass plates and fitting that once you work out how to get them together correctly form a very solid gimbal mount. It is designed specifically for the Hero, and you...

Thanks for that correction jackella, it was just my understanding from reading that it was usually the other way around. It makes sense that it can be either way .

Basic assistant settings for quad control using a NAZA controller

I have just ripped my DJI flamewheel 450 to bits and built all the NAZA gear onto a spare 525 frame I have acquired, as the 450 is a bit tight to fit all the GPS and other FPV gear on. Everything went on just fine, but for some reason the settings used on the 450 for the autopilot do not work...

Bonjour Wildtech, comment ca va ? I am afraid my french is pretty limited these days, although I used to speak it fluently about 60 years ago !!!!! FPV means First Person View, in other words, flying the quad from inside the cockpit using a laptop, or better yet, receiver goggles such as Fat...

Welcome to the forum Wildtech ! The best radio depends on a number of different parameters.Firstly, are you going to be using it for FPV. If so you need to decide on the frequency you are going to use for the aircraft control and the FPV transmitter as you cannot use the same for both. In the...

XAircraft Xaircraft FC as standalone camera gymble controller?

Would this work when the only connection to the XA controller is power in and gimbals out ? Doesn't it need inputs to know the attitude of the MRC ? Ian

NAZA rapid flashing red + LOW-VOL[4] error in assistant with a fully loaded LIPO !

Interesting thread, as I have been seeing something similar with my 450 DJI quad with NAZA kit on board. I am not yet convinced by the voltage control in the NAZA assistant, it seems to argue regularly with my voltage indicator, trying to cut power even though my indicator shows full power. It...

What size props on a DJI 450 with GPS and GOPro mounted ?

Cheers Jackella Will redo the connector, that can as you say cause this sort of problems. I flew her yesterday with a brand new 2200 lipo and she seemed to stay aloft a lot longer, and with more punch, so maybe my other cells are getting old, which is quite possible, they have been used for...
