Hi Dave I have been told that you are not very far away from me ? I am in Poulton Le Fylde. I am an experienced heli builder/repairer/pilot etc, that is just starting into MR by ordering an F450 with NAZA. Maybe not the ultimate but I feel it is a good starting point. If you are relatively...

experienced pilot but now getting into quads

Cheers Lumalee it seems to be a great site for all the help I am sure I will need as I get up to speed with these things. I am pretty good at picking stuff up usually, and I am sure my heli background will be helpful too. Hopefully see you around...

New flight video! A new way of thinking...

I think it was a very clever use of the sun in the lens, and the soundtrack certainly worked for me - well done !"

Thanks for that Boris, quite a useful site, although I do know most of those terms through my heli flying, but will explore the stuff offered on there, so I have bookmarked it - Cheers Ian

experienced pilot but now getting into quads

Hey Kari, thanks for the welcome, and isn't that just the truth, but when it is "almost" as good as you are in the cockpit, and it is costing almost nothing to do it, I guess that is the price we pay for it. Maybe someone will come up with a pilot seat complete with controls and actuators to...

Please guide me with a move into quad rotors

Get the quad and NAZA etc,and get that built and learn to fly it, then maybe go to FPV, and finally add the camera gear, but the last two could be in either order. I feel you are buying a hell...

    All of these terms ??

Hi everyone I am an experienced "real" plane pilot with 1500+ hours logged, and have been flying RC helis for the last 22 years on and off, and quite naturally I know all of the terminology for both of those arenas, BUT......... I am totally new to Quads, and have noticed a huge raft of 3...

experienced pilot but now getting into quads

Hi Everyone I have been flying ever since I was 17, and learned to fly (real planes) in Tiger Moths back in 1961. I have kept my licence up on and off ever since then, and have done parachute flying, filming flights and all sorts of other stuff. My model flying started some 22 years ago with...
