I got a chance to test this for 6 weeks with the Lightbridge on my S1000. The gimbal was very stable and exhibited no bad habits. The camera is great but way outside my budget. Canon USA was kind enough to provide one of theirs for the duration of my tests.

David I can tell you from experience flying at altitude that below 50% you can have issues. That is why I recommended the 9450 props.

David, that is why DJI introduced the 9450 props. High altitude or heavy quads. I would try them I think you will be surprised at how well they perform with the latest firmware.

Does the Phantom wobble on descent? If so you are descending in your own prop wash. That will cause instability. If you are the newest firmware then your descent is limited to 2m/sec. You can try the 9450 DJI props. That may help the situation. However, it is better to descend with some...

I have set this up before for P2 users. 5.8gHz RC and the Lightbridge for video only. It works. You cannot use 2.4gHz for your RC though.

You may have high internal resistance so the voltage under load and that at rest are different. 1.5v is high but I have seen as high as .9v. I would suggest a voltage monitor with logging. That will give you the information that you need to see what is going on.

I am sorry that you are experiencing this. It appears that DJI switched vendors and there is some calibration issues on some of the gimbals. As was stated, you have two choices to correct this.
