Hoverfly SimonK firm with the HFP

The best test, if someone wants to take the time, is to put Turnigy on one axis and SimonK on the other. Then fly and see if you notice a difference along once axis in terms of stability. I am willing to send someone a $100 coupon to use in the Hoverfly Store if someone will try it and post...

    Hoverfly got ppm?

There is some confusion. On the HFP you still need at least the signal wire from each channel of the RX to the HFP. I believe the original question was can you use PPM? or a single wire connection like SBUS. We have talked about it but there are more important things on our development...

Hoverfly SimonK firm with the HFP

Correct. We have used everything from 1.5" to 21". Now it used to be that the CC firmware before 4.01 cutoff about 20 Hz. This is too slow and as a result flight was very unstable. Best results are when the arms are twice the length of the prop diameter. This has more to do with the flight...

Hoverfly SimonK firm with the HFP

Unfortunately, this is only useful if the propeller has no mass or drag. The best you can really do with your average 12" prop and motor is about 30Hz variation in RPM. A 10,000hz update rate isn't any better than a 100Hz with most propellers. If it was actually possible to update the...

    Hoverfly aerobatics

The PRO is necessarily not designed for aerobatics. The SPORT is however and you can choose from AP, SPORT, or EXPERT modes. It is difficult to flip the PRO unless you have significant altitude and GUTS.

Hoverfly SimonK firm with the HFP

The response isn't any better than Turnigy Plush or Castle Creations. You shouldn't notice a difference with SimonK. But if you try it post your thoughts.

Hoverfly HoverFly Pro Y6 Yaw Issue

Fly for a few minutes, land and feel the motors. It sounds like you have a yaw imbalance in the build. If CW motors are warm and CCW are not (or visa versa) then this is your problem.

    Hoverfly Hoverfly GPS

Thats great to hear! I was at the Hodges Hobby All Electric Fly In this past weekend. Unfortunately, for all of the DJI enthusiasts there was a steady 15 mph wind...I was the only one flying. When I engaged Position Hold it held in the wind (on a Droidworx CX-4) to within a few feet even...

    Hoverfly Hoverfly GPS

The Earth's magnetic field at the surface is typically between 0.25 to 0.65 gauss. Anymore than 1% of that can cause a problem or 0.0025 worst case scenario. We will be publishing a simple test that users can perform with existing hardware to determine if craft generated magnetic fields are...

Hoverfly Hoverfly Gimbal---Running into some issues

If you have already adjusted your acceleration until the jitter stops then the problem sounds mechanical. Often what happens is the HoverflyGIMBAL sends continuous movement commands out but the gimbal sticks a bit and once the movement commands go beyond the friction point the axis moves...

Iris I believe you got a Mediatek with your GPS. There are pictures in the manual to determine which you have. The latest GPS boards are marked near the ports showing which GPS receiver to use for which port. You can put it anywhere on the craft.

Hoverfly Hoverfly Gimbal and Photoship 3X Pro

Yes be careful here. It states this in the manual but what you power the HoverflyGIMBAL with also powers the servos. The HFG can take up to 32V but your servos and receiver CANT.
