XAircraft XAircraft X650 Pro - Owners

That's an interesting video to try and figure out not only the vibrations but also what the GoPro and Protune is doing. I think as far as the vibration goes your really getting it dialed in. As VIQuad mentioned it can be hard to tell online, and there are a few weird shimmy's but I think that...

XAircraft My Xaircraft SuperX Experience and Observations

You know considering that I'm waiting for you to do the testing I can't begin tell you how sweet that field looks, especially sitting in my 80 degree office! Its also funny how amazing this footage is compared to the first Gu344 and hoping you were going to clear the fence... Would you fly...

XAircraft XAircraft X650 Pro - Owners

Anyone who knows much about video will tell you that is post processing video, for some reason people think post processing is bad, its not, just helpful to understand how it works if people are going to use it as a benchmark for quality. Youtube does not support 60fps so if you didn't...

XAircraft My Xaircraft SuperX Experience and Observations

If your 50 or so feet up, shooing a still panorama then a variation of two or three feet shouldn't be a problem, if your shooting video that much variation in altitude will probably go unnoticed if its a fairly smooth transition up or down. As far as that ugly field, some of us remember when...

Paul, any flight videos to go along with your first impressions? Have you had the chance to fly much?

XAircraft XAircraft X650 Pro - Owners

There are three ways to reduce vibrations in multirotors, balance the motors and props, isolate the source of the vibration from the frame, or dampen the vibration. Moongel was developed to dampen high frequency vibrations on snare drums and cymbals. If the frequency of your vibration is...

Show what you filmed - Post Your Video Here

That's some great stuff! Are you flying a Y6 or X8? And what camera are you flying. You certainly have developed a great look to your aerial.

Aerial Photo/Video Forums area expanding, suggestions?

Aerovideo started a post in the HF forum about what makes good aerial video, I think its a good idea to have discussions about styles and techniques to produce aerial video that is controller agnostic and how AP is integrated with other footage to make a compelling video. A lot of AP...

The footage wasn't great but I don't see anything wrong with flying over an empty stadium?

    Hoverfly Something Big?

This thread kind of holds out hope that HF will announce the next big thing here. Since it doesn't appear that's going to happen there's really no point to it. Bummer...

This is getting old. I see the same stuttering, it has nothing to do with the speed of the internet connection. I simply stated that if someone experiences this problem in After Effects then simply re-interpret the footage and it is solved, I did not imply that you used AE, I also said that it...

    Hoverfly Something Big?

I know there are probably people who fly 5dMIII, C300 or RED with a WKM, I'm not one of them. I won't fly anything more expensive than a GoPro with a DJI product, I just don't trust them no matter how stable they might be.

If you edited together two clips, you did post production. When you encode it to upload it you did post production. I also wasn't the one who pointed out the issue, I just replied to a question why its the way that it is.

    Hoverfly Something Big?

Your right, no comparison, cut through all the marketing crap from everyone HFPro is a FC for professionals and its unfortunate what is happening, DJI is a toy.

Do you have to do it at every location? Sounds a bit much, what happens if you don't? It looks like if the footage went through After Effects it needs to be "interpreted" or a miss match of frame rates between source footage and timeline.

David if you've never used expo why would you be opposed to it, more importantly why would you advise someone for or against something you don't use? I'm more knowledgeable, that's why you shouldn't trust 90% of what you read online...

    XAircraft XAircraftX Request

All good request but what's the difference between flipping a switch to enter IOC and flipping a switch to enter RTH? Accept for a possible change in altitude doesn't it accomplish the same thing?

That guys videos have improved a lot over the past couple of years. He has some pretty funny reviews. Facts are illusive online, but Stability in the air is more related to GPS, Gyros and accelerometers than to motors, props and airframe. You can have a very stable MR that has quit a bit of...

When you shoot professionally its all about improving the odds of getting usable and "repeatable" footage and the 3rd axis improves both. How much you value the 3rd axis depends on what type of footage your shooting, you probably don't need a second camera operator and the 3rd axis for some...

Do you have to program Optp ESC's with SimonK firmware? I heard all you had to do was set the throttle.
