yea, it was something else. It has a built in timelapse or stop motion mode, it creates a video from a pile of stills internaly..... whatever you set it to.... has a lot of options, trying one now, gonna post it from gh4 and from premiere to see if it helps or hurts.... will output 4k .mp4...

today i took it out to record a timelaps and it locked up with u3..... there was a sd icon in red with an arrow pointing right. Tried stopping it and locked up, had to remove the battery.... it did all kinds of weird stuff, had set to raw only, it shot raw/jpg. hmmmm, i'll mark that up to...

There is such a thing as pre load that is set on good motor assemblies.... it is the first indication you broke a bearing in the slop that develops in the up and down movement. in my experience and before i understood i'd reset that pre load and lemme tell ya, hell was unleashed so be careful...

It's all we use, i tried messing with the discount props, there just not the same. These have an airfoil, foam core, really close to ballance, but only 1 in 20 is perfect. The rest are really close and take minimal sanding to make perfect. epic under a jib with these....

the next "real" step is lumix, at this point gh4, there is also a nice mirrorless sony 4k coming up, is alot more and the lenses aren't quite as nice imo.... gh3 does awesome if all you need is 1080p and with the 4k offerings coming, there should be a few used gh3 starting to go up for sale...

i do it like the video attached.... i use the inner area immediately outside teh hub and as little of the outter part as possible to get an ear to drop,,, when that ear drops i sand the bottom "face" of the prop till that ear lightens up, generally at that point it tries coming back up off...

we had it record a whole gig in 4k with that chip...... pre production.... i remember seeing 3 takes not record out of 60.... i'm on u3 now

lemme try this again, if it is a 2 man op and the gimbal is seperate from the main rig, there is no linking it to a flight controller, my question is can i just get it to send pwm signals to an alexmos gimbal like a futaba rc rx does? or is it sbus out only and looking for a flight controller...

that is that gimbal. this was a forward flight in alot of wind, usually the amp draws are around 50-55 hovering in no wind. it flies what it flies, with my jib and the same gimbal/packs i land within 7 minutes, with this thing i'm dying by 10-15 minuts to land cause i feel like i've flown too...

Ed, can a lightbridge be used on an alexmos gimbal for gimbal control and video feed? ie, does it need to meetup with other dji "stuff"

shoot them an email and ask,,, and i'd do what i did, none to full pumps shows that squeel,,,, called commutation errors. if it does it, most likely the rig won't ever tune to where your happy and will eventualy lock up a motor.... one made it 1 flight, the other went 62 but both went in.

well, got them flashed and it's noticeably better but you can still hear it trying to lock up. in all fairness is a set of high pole motors... crap

pm "vinhex" in a crash you want to look at motor outputs and relate them to what you saw... for instance if a motor goes full power and that side fell it's the motor/prop/esc.....
