I think all the accessories are extra. That is definitely how the H6 is being sold. The dampener plate, quick release block, case etc are extra.

I think the justification for the KDE ESCs to go with the motors is that they have been tested specifically together. I have had some issues with other brands of motors not working with particular ESCs. That said, the cost is much more than other options. And some people have had good luck...

I'll also be curious to see @SleepyC review of the H6. I think he may have it already.

^^^ +459!!! :) Hobby king is great for super cheap stuff. Silicone wire has been decent, connectors, etc. but ultimately, you'll save cash if you do it right the first time. And a TON of aggravation!!!

I think small props cut through wind better, and in my experience the are a bit more "zippy." But typically AV/P rigs go with a larger prop for the lift and the lower RPM. You don't really want zippy with aerial video :) My rigs don't have huge props. 15" max on my biggest MR.

I assuming you meant 90A and 40v? If so, the motors you linked state 30A Max (x4). You will hopefully never run max amps through the system - but this not something you want crapping out when you're in the air.

Lack of efficiency will lead to less flight time. Any time you're losing power to heat - less time in the air, as well as potential wear and tear on a motor. The only advantage to 5S might be cheaper batteries if it made sense design wise.

If you're going for the 6S, only the 2nd linked motor is appropriate. Seems you'd be right about perfect on thrust with a 12" prop. Not sure about the 650 to 680 swap. You'd have to check the length of the booms on both to see if it would save money over just buying the whole 680 kit...

I don't think you've given us all the info, sorry if I missed it. Is your estimate of 2600g including an estimate of the battery weight??? What maximum size props does the quad accept? Were you planning on 4S? Or 6S batteries?

No sweat. As old man said - sunnysky is a great mid-level priced motor. And they will come with the bolt-on style.

The better motors will not come with the collet style adaptor - and if they do, you want to replace with a prop mount that bolts to the top of the bell, and has a threaded post. Use nyloc nuts on the post. That should take care of it. And can I say, the original replacement motor should not be...

If you can afford the extra weight - dual batteries may help in case one goes bad - and has the additional mah as well.
