Product Review: Paralinx Triton 1:1 Wireless HD Video TX/RX System

Our friends at Paralinx were kind enough to send Multirotorforums.com their brand new Triton 1:1 Wireless HD Video TX/RX system to review. And that is just what we did! Instead of the typical review where people take stagnant pictures and copy the promotional text from the companies website I...

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

This is obviously not for you then. I am renting a 2000 ft system for 1/3 the cost of this entire unit for 2 days! This is an amazing price. The Paralinx Tomahawk is around $6000 for 2000 ft!

Dji Inspire 2 - first pictures

Considering that DJI just applied for the Micro 4/3 licensing why would they go with an antiquated camera like the 5D? No 4K and WAY too heavy when a GH4 can shoot 4K and is 1/2 the weight. I think this is false. I see DJI just adding different gimbals to strap onto the Inspire 1 that will...

    Foxtech Pivot V2 retracts... anyone?

Yea, when it comes to an extra $11 on a $XXXX rig.... :D

    Foxtech Pivot V2 retracts... anyone?

I would use 2 controllers, the controller has a safety built in, not sure you could tap a 2nd retract onto that channel and have it still work.

    Foxtech Pivot V2 retracts... anyone?

I have 3 sets of the Tarot retracts on rigs from 9lbs to 28 lbs... they ROCK. And for the price having a few extra as back up is feasible. This is a "smaller" rig I was testing the Soloshot2 robot camera man with, but it usually has a Zenmuse strapped to it... :D (and usually a WKM.. HAHA)

Frame company won't sell me a frame unless I buy all the components as well???

I wasn't trying to be rude. It's a popular X8 that the company will just not seperate. So it's not this one?

Frame company won't sell me a frame unless I buy all the components as well???

I think I know the frame your talking about? The Gryphon Dynamics x8 rip off? Yea that's because they only make money on the motors and esc's and other sub par parts. Carbon fiber prices are pretty much the same so that is why they won't sell just the frame. If you really like that frame I'd go...

    Wiring Harness VS Distribution Boards

I'm a PDB guy. With a harness you never know the condition of your soldier joint on the inside. And even a crack can cause a lot of resistance and end up melting the soldier and bringing a rig down. I had a friend with a HL OCTO with a harness. Guy is a pro, no half assing it. But after many...

how much to wait between flights?

Oh don't get me wrong. I whole heartedly believe 6S is better for heavy lifting, and if you get even heavier 8S and then 12S... it all has it's place. But the statement that ANY "S" rating has a higher tendency to fail is just not true.

One motor starting slightly slower. Vid in slo-mo

Funny enough, we found the problem in the same way by mistake. I did an iPhone slo-mo simply to show the rocking I was seeing in the rig and when we played it back we were like.. WOAH SLOW MOTOR!

What lens for Black Magic Production 4k?

Honestly I'd go with the 14. I am limited by my M5. I am really considering an M10 or an H14... when the "can you fly a RED with a Cine lens" comes up.. with the M10 or H14 the answer would be YES... YES I CAN...
