    S900 Vibrating and jumping

If the gimbal is not working properly it can induce oscillations and cause you issues. Also is the new gimbal heavier or lighter? If so you would need to re-CG the helicopter. Also weight would change the Gains and also the CG location... When you change things on a rig there are a lot of...

    The Future of Propeller Technology

I can tell you first hand the 3 blade props made a HUGE difference for me. The smoothness of the rig, the transportability, just those factors make me a believer. Also, a 15" 3 blade is ruffly equivalent to a 16.5" 2 blade so for smaller frames it's awesome as well!

Align Multicopter How do I set up my radio or aps-m to eliminate throttle cut on throttle stick with futaba t14sg

to calibrate ESC's (99% of the time) take props off (important). Turn on radio and put throttle to 100%, plug in helicopter. The ESC's should beep differently, usually a series of 2 - 5 tones. Then after you hear the tones pull throttle to 0, The ESC's should beep 2 times. Unplug and reboot the...

    Multi-Impossible, Mōvi_M5/MK Build and Review

I'll bet you no matter how you seal them wood props will not stand up to mid summer humidity. Vib meter. I bet at least a 10% increase in vibes during July/August in Ohio compared to Carbon or composite folding props. BET?

    The Future of Propeller Technology

I have several rigs with folding props on them, and I find that snugging the blades enough that you have to apply a little bit of pressure to move them into place works best. The force of the spinning motor aligns them quite quickly and I have to admit my rigs have never been smoother no matter...

    Pusher Multirotor

Brushless motors will run submerged, water (fresh) really doesn't hurt them, your FC and the ESC's is a different story but the motors, they are fine with some wet.

FREEFLY Systems Freefly ALTA, RTF collapsible hexacopter

SteveMaller asked Tab this question and this was the reply: " How about redundancy? What if you lose a motor? The Synapse flight controller can compensate for the loss of a motor to a certain degree and you may be able to fly and land safely. Maneuverability is compromised, especially for yaw...

The Gremsy H6 is also an option. We should be reviewing one, I'm waiting on the package!

    Phobotic CenterPiece Owners Thread.

There are several reasons the Cp doesn't "KILL" the Movi. 1) Start up time. On a set no one has 4 - 5 minutes to wait for a gimbal to start up. 2) Tuning. I can change a lens, rebalance and tune the Movi in about 2 minutes total. CP... not so much 3) Turning on in wind or conditions Movi can...

FREEFLY Systems Freefly ALTA, RTF collapsible hexacopter

Each one has had a use, but now with portability and lift capacity being handled with one rig, it seems to be a waste. Cleveland right now is becoming a go to spot for movie filming due to tax breaks... so I am needing less and less small camera rigs. Most people won;t even let me shoot with a...

Product Review: TTRobotix Super Hornet ARF

I've owned Skyhero quads. They are similar but very different. Sky hero stuff is very highness carbon and the frame plates are held apart by blocks. The plastic in the Skyhero kits is top notch as well, but you have to pay a pretty price for that quality!

FREEFLY Systems Freefly ALTA, RTF collapsible hexacopter

I think the price is actually very fair. The FC was around $2K, the motors and esc's and not run of the mill, and the frame is awesome. With a cargo capacity of 15 lbs, that can carry a wide array of cameras! I am saving now!

    Multi-Impossible, Mōvi_M5/MK Build and Review

I have had wood props that were balanced PERFECTLY. On Sat footage was great. Sunday got into some REAL August Humidity and the helicopter was shaking so badly footage was unusable. Props touched nothing. Changed to Carbon = glass. I do not trust them!
