I've been doing this with a GH4 on my Zen GH3 gimbal for a while. Just let it calibrate and then plug in the HDMI cable.
I have rarely gone more than 1 time around 360 deg during a shoot. also with a super THIN HDMI cable, and a little slack 2 - 3 times won;t even bind it up.
Vortex Ring Syndrom. If you drop to quickly into the rigs own prop wash, nothing will stop it from falling out of the sky, the more throttle you give it it will drop faster.
DJI is a proprietary system. There will be no 3rd party apps to control the Phantom. Just the controller and what ever app DJI has issued.
As far as I know the software is closed source and DJI have not given any permission to any 3rd party software companies to do development.
The BMCC is HEAVY I have one. My Movi M5 works with it, a Gremsy H6 will work, a LOT of the cheap gimbals will not. You need some powerful motors and a GOOD controller board to make it work with this camera. The camera empty is 3.3lbs. Add an SSD and it's 3.55 add a decent Cine lens (14mm) and...
You may have to calibrate the ESC's to the radio. With the props off, turn on the radio, put the throttle to the top position.
Plug in the helicopter. if it makes a different beep than normal, quickly pull the throttle back down. It should make another set of beeps. You are done. props back on...
Check your WKM, there was a video showing that some of the WKM's on the I/O box, on the Motor output side, the internal soldering was missing a pole. The hole is tight enough that it allows a signal, but when vibration happens it becomes hap hazard.
Should be closing soon, but there is nothing that states if it is approved it will most likely go into effect "insert date"
I mean a 6 month window would be ok. I just need to know if this is 2 - 3 years from now where it won't even matter because everyone that is getting exempt now will already...
Ok so a few months ago there was that big announcement that the FAA was going to make it slightly easier to become certified to fly AV. Ground school, a test and paying for a permit (or something like that)
SO.. when is this coming to be? I have heard nothing more about it and I'm kind of...
Yea just make sure when you have a larger camera on the front, you adjust your batteries to compensate. As long as you can hold it and it's pretty balanced front to back I would not change the other settings.
Hey guys, I did this review for our sister site GiantScaleNews.com but I thought it was relevant for this site as well so CHECK IT OUT!
Hey guys, the weather here in Ohio finally cooperated and I was able to get out and test the Soloshot2! AS I have stated before I was super pumped to get a...
I have, be VERY careful with a #11 blade and slowly cut away, bend the wire over and zip tye the whole mess. I then painted mine in liquid handle from HomeDepot. It's a scary process but it does work.
