Airborne X8, any one used these?

I just wrote about them... but if Ziv wants one reviewed... I'm HIS MAN! :D:D I'd happily disassemble my X8 and slap the Avrotos on a Ziv frame! :D:D:D

    Need Recommendations for New Buy

You really need to define your needs. What are you shooting for? The web, small company owners wanting nice shots of stuff? Then they will not care about bit rate, just the final result. Now if you are shooting for movies or TV then the Inspire, the GH4 and most of the other cameras you...

Airborne X8, any one used these?

I think the frame looks pretty cool. BUT the motors seem to be the DuelSky HL motors. I have had a LOT of bad luck with these motors. The bearings wore after 10 hours. I do like the ESC location, but I'd avoid those motors. Slap a set of KDE's on there, or T-Motors.

A2 receiver vs external. What are you using and why?

I use the onboard Futaba REC. No issues at all, and my cam op uses a Sbus rec into the Zenmuse... perfect combo, less stuff on the copter.

    Team Black Sheep kits

What do you mean by "plug in's"? You can use what ever you want on a disco, unless you are talking about the one with the Gimbal and VTX built in.

1100mm hex build. Hexacrafter, T-Motor, A2. Oh my.

Always get the handheld stuff... you would be surprised how much you end up using a good gimbal handheld.... It's worth it to get it all.

1100mm hex build. Hexacrafter, T-Motor, A2. Oh my.

Hexacrafter frames are awesome. I've been flying my HC-800 with an A2 a lot lately. And last week I flew it in a fracking snowstorm in -5 deg weather in the dark in 15 mph winds with heavy snow conditions... and it flew great as usual!
