the goggles tell you about the goggles, if you need to see the aircrafts battery warning light move it in the cameras view, if you need numbers, get an osd..... like tbs core pro, ezosd, or your flight controller proprietary osd if naza, iosd.... etc this is a regular tbs core.... not pro &...

the 12's steady it up in wind on 6s. also lets it lean further into the power band for speed i think one of my guys tried 11 or 12" on 4s 500kv and had a couple premature not enough lift and it went in episodes.... bigger props cured it.... something with voltage drop and weight vs. thrust

you gotta study a pretty basic outline of the ham system and pass a test at your local ham club. it takes most people a week or two. any fpv system in america needs the ham lic. it also allows you to bump up your rc control to a uhf system.

there used to be a thing where this would happen to certain esc. i can't remember the trick. i think it has to do with the hoverfly calibration and radio endpoints. what radio is this? i haven't touched one of these in a long time

have either of you tried going to "endpoints" in the radio and making throttle a bigger number? futaba 8fg acts totaly normal

We just built a rig i'll start flying tuesday that is superX and kde.... so far they totaly work fine, no commutation problems, no startup issues. What your describing sounds weird..... fp, when we talked last week i hit up patrick and he said theres no problems. What is yours doing exactly?

that camera is safely flown on airframes like Skyjib 8, Cinestar 8, Hexacrafter 1100, etc. it's the most expensive size to buy like your trex 800 was.... like srh were starting to get better and better stuff in higher and higher voltages with lower kv's than ever now. Some combos are touchy to...

Limited on funds,,,, that's not a good way to lift a big heavy camera..... i'd move back just a tad and get familiar with something cheap to fix. These big helis are $$$ to repair and the power and weights they fly at can cause some pretty serious damage to anything it would hit. go fly a hero...

so yea, thats a short. Can you get another motor? when there shorting, it's crazy. random things hapen, usually a notable whine but there untuneable from gains, fly like crap to even worse depending how many are shorting you can pull the clip off the bottom of the motor and slip off the barrel...

fly this in manual and either have somebody look or glance down at the throttle stick and tell me what the hover throttle position is.
