    Discharge plug?

It might be that the power leads come without any plug on so you will have to put your own on such as EC5, XT150 or whatever.

Gryphon 1000 hex build with ecalc data

It would be even neater if you turned each motor 180 degrees and had the wire running directly into the top aperture rather than the bottom.

    BNUC-s vs. RPQ-s?

Get the process started asap as it will probably take you 6 months from now until you get your actual PFAW. To be honest, going RPQ or BNUC both achieve the same thing for similar costs so perhaps it is worth going with which is most practical in terms of course availability and location. When I...

    basic question for a beginner

A rifle is designed around the target effect required, then the bullet and then the gun itself. Kind of similar with AP- work out your imagery requirements, choose a suitable camera and then spec your aircraft around that.

    Ikarus on order.

That's what happens when you fly in manual! I bet that he lost orientation and over commanded the return, over corrected and then by the time it was over him, all orientation lost. Orientation loss happens to the best pilots. Enjoy the Ikarus!

    Shooting drone to drone

Each year I think the RC Heli Addicts lot do a mass hover- I think they have had something like 200 helis up in the air at once. Nay problems!!!! The joys of digital command links.

    FAA Approved MR manufacturers?

No such thing as any CAA approved manufacturer in the UK and never has been as far as I am aware but I could be wrong. The UK is actually going through a safety case system now whereby if you want to operate outside normal permissions you will need to submit a safety case, a part of which is...

Downside to picking a slightly larger motor?

ESCs unless they have active freewheelinig don't like be powered too low-it can cause them to heat up pretty quickly. That's why in SR builds people aim for the 50-80% mark for the heli's constant throttle setting.

    Motor Failure

Ive got an X8 with a MTOM of 20kg and it is set in the standard DJI config. I lost a motor on it whilst flying at 20kgs due to a faulty ESC. The first I knew about it was just as I was coming into land as I noticed one of the props was stationary. No issues with yaw authority what so ever. If...

    iOSD logs not showing

These are shots taken from a system where everything has been upgraded to the latest firmware so firmware mismatch can be ruled out at this stage.

Aeronavics / Droidworx Proposed SkyJib X4 Build

@Gens-Tattu the above post is bordering on spam. Being supportive to your customers is one thing and is very much appreciated but the above is just too damned blatant.

    iOSD logs not showing

iOSD Logs all goosed still. On latest firmware with A2 and iOSD and having taken @Tahoe Ed 's advice on the iOSD needing to go back I bought a new one which I have just tried. Same problem.

What are you playing your multirotor for?

With FPV racing now beginning to gain real momentum, that's the place to look for small batteries- look at the TBS Gemini. I think it uses both 3 and 4 cell in and around the 1.3Ah area I think.

    FPV monitor setup?

The Secraft trays are excellent and having tried a few the Secraft knocks the others into touch. It seems this is the tray used by the majority now.

You can but I would re do the calibration process to ensure that it has been done correctly.
