I was going to warn you about "drone induced credit card issues", but $30 is a pretty good deal lol!

    Tarot T18 Builds

I've had my eye on the T18 for quite a while myself. If you guys could continue this as a build thread it would be great for myself and others interested in this frame. I've been flying the T810 hex for a couple of years now and am super pleased with it. It uses the same folding mechanics so...

    Horizon Chroma Drones Sale

Oh and I'll add a prediction that the "video drone guy for hire" will descend into a cutthroat race to the bottom dollar in most towns. It's already heading that way here.

    Horizon Chroma Drones Sale

This trend doesn't surprise me at all. Ive thought from the outset that the consumer end is just a fad. Military, police, SAR, commercial inspection is the sector that makes sense. And as OM points out these areas are pretty much closed to the small businessman.

    Horizon Chroma Drones Sale

I've noticed this too. I'm wondering if Xmas sales weren't what everyone expected and they're stuck with bills and overstocked.

    Increasing Flight Time of Hexacopter

Good advise from Cooter about props. Batteries too.. I have a flamewheel 550 as my beater machine, and run 5000mah 3s batts on 10" props (4.5" pitch). I'm getting about 10 mins flight time but she's a heavy old dog too.

My god. I'm Canadian so I don't have first hand into but didn't Al Gore win the popular vote yet still was not allowed to be president? Re Welfare Fraud: similar issues up here... I've heard of people collecting checks from several province under assumed names. Taking Greyhound buses across...

Building first drone and new to this

Looking good Hoki! One thing to remember is that carbon fiber is a good conductor of electricity too. Make sure no bare connections touch the frame ;)

So how do yall feel about drones flying over your property?

If you stay still long enough to get a clear shot, then you're fair game ;)

Alta Price goes UP - A LOT.... $11,995.00 WHAT?!?!?!

A small company of 3-4 principals designing FC (or gimbal) code from scratch, while simultaneously designing the frames / hardware / ESC's / motors etc from scratch? Not bloody likely IMO. It's a fair bet most of it is off the shelf re-branded stuff including the software. I'm pretty sure...

    Props protection

I agree with Hoki about removing them. I generally remove mine during transit. It forces me to inspect motors and props and ensure they're tightened etc. Nice socks though :)

    Your New Ride

What could possibly go wrong lol! Again just a rendering. I wonder if any real engineering or prototyping has been done.
