It will not be a problem as the ESC will not be effected by battery size only battery voltage. You will only have a problem if you are trying to draw more than 15Amp thought the ESC which is very unlikely on the 550,

I would agree that your motors are not level, one or more are probably not straight causing the yaw, in your description of the problem you say it yaws slower to the left (counterclockwise?) so they are most likely with a slight angle in the clock wise direction.

That's the PMU not the IMU In the first picture and it is not upgrade able to my recollection. Your IMU is to the latest version. make sure your doing the right chicken dance when trying to calibrate.
