    Building up a quad

Having got a mini quadcopter, flying around and crashing, I wanted to build my own system up. The cheapest was to buy a kit, but they dont supply a controller and a receiver. I chose "DIY 3 QC F450 kit", using APM 2.6 FC and the bigger motors 2212/920kv, with a GPS unit. They provided a nylon...

    Naza M V2 w/ HakRC Storm 32 3 Axis Gimbal

The flight controller has sensors to aid stability. It is programmed to make flying easier, with the Barometer ( for height Height), an accelerometer and provides connectivity for things like GPS. With the GPS attached, you loose sight of your machine, you can switch in RTH, it will then come...

    flashing lights

I dont know that machine at all, but I do know that some flight controllers have to be enabled before they can respond to the controller. The APM for instance you have to hold the left stick to bottom right corner for a few seconds, to enable (That will be mode2 controller) Maybe you have...

    flashing lights

I dont know that drone at all, but have seen a few flight controllers that need to be enabled, before you can do anything. I have an APM2.6 some where I read that it has to be enabled by holding the right stick to bottom right to enable. Once done you can fly. Maybe you have something similar?

Recreational Use in a No Fly Zone - HELP!!!

There are different categories of multirotor machines, I was under the impression that the weight and size determines the category. Mini and Micro quads are regarded as toys, and they can be flown 10km from an airport, even then a max of 120m is allowed. In all the demos on youtube, nobody seems...

    CLUELESS QUAD BUILDER

Yes it is better to use the serial output as mentioned above, I do have a suspicion that you might have to download Cleanflight or Betaflight, so you can assign the channels 5 to 8, that is if you had to buy a separate controller. The assigned functions on the controller have to match that of...

Need Help! Finding my first drone.

I would consider a good camera first of all, then a camera gimball if you are making videos. Brushless motors are the best. I made my own attachment for cameras from thin aluminium. If you are going to go far to do photographs, consider telemetering, the other features are nice to have like...

Need Help! Finding my first drone.

My first consideration was the camera, then can the quadcopter carry it and how stable it would be. Brush less motors was imperative, the other thing was if making videos, a camera gim ball

    Dji F550 /Please Help

You didnt give the 23xx size of the motor. There is a table put out by one of the motor manufacturers that gives motor size, the KV and the recommended prop size. Ok I tried to download....maybe this will help?
