I had same problems with 5.06 on my heavy lift hexa, too hot for ESCs resulting in one shutting down. Happy with 5.02 and won't dare try 5.08. I think it depends on the type of ESC and motor combo?

Sounds like faulty hardware, it shuld still be under warranty so i would return it to the dealer for repair or replacment if its only 3 moths old.

Maybe we should all send DJI a bill for our repairs due to poor firmware, I think they must have shares in other MR businesses!

Download the old assistant with 5.02 firmware, remove the assistant you have installed at the moment then install the old assistant. Hook up your WKM in the usual way and when it checks for new firmware you will see the "upgrade" is now actualy a downgrade. Don't forget to default all settings...

Try reverting back to old firmware if it was ok before. The old firmware and assistant are on the WKM page of DJI website.

I'm also using Graupner 11x5's, I always check the temp (by hand) of each motor and ESC after a flight just make sure there is no excessive heat. Never had a problem with temps. after flying with 5.02 but motors and ESCs were very hot under 5.06. I think (and hope) DJI look in to this problem...
