I have to shoot the aerial element of a web based add for a new super bright bike lights supplier, has to be done at night in the dark obviously, Gopro is out the equation, gonna test my 600D if thats not up to the job it will have to be the 7D, Any advice or suggestions on night shooting...

As Deanot states,,,the 4 sec lag renders it useless for FPV or framing, I have used it with no adverse effects to control to about 100m range

yeah works well, post stab wont take out jello too well, dont confuse jello due to motor prop vibration with the wobbles caused by turbulence or an unstable MR. Just as a side note, dont underestimate what you achieve with a fixed gopro, IMHO its common to get smoother rush's with fixed mounted...

Was looking at those with much interest but opted for a 600D as the rebel series is well tried and tested and not that much heavier.

I get nearly as much flight time with my F450 as Deanot, depending on payload, also 9" Graupners and 4000mAh 4S

Used Boscams and FPV Fever 200Mw units, I think they are basically the same. As Razzil & Pete attest, they are OK, if they dont come with circular polarized antenna its worth getting a set to improve performance

For that size its probably far simpler to go direct drive brushless these days, generally the motors are cheaper then the grade of servo required to achieve descent results and the controllers, Alexmos and Martinez are cheaper than a good servo gimbal controllers. you can dispense with gears and...
