Has GPS dumbed down this hobby?

Horses for courses Bensid, heli's are really quite simple and parts fairly cheap, for say a 450. and its all done with just one motor and ESC. my views are biased though.

Has GPS dumbed down this hobby?

Good effort Shills, incidently, you could actually have achieved the same with CPM heli's using Naza H, flymentor or copilot 2 or such like.

    DJI F450 Heavy Lifting?

I have it connected to a VTx so frame shots with a 7" monitor mounted on my Tx. One down side here is that the USB is common to AV out and remote control so its one or the other unless you can wire up a fully populated canon style USB lead. I get round it by using a mechanical focus/shutter...

    Over-flying houses.

This is direct from art 166 of ANO pertaining to small unmanned aircraft, I'm assuming its the same for both. certainly not condoning the practise though, especially in the light of the amount of recent flyaways.

    DJI F450 Heavy Lifting?

Absolutely love it, cracking camera for just 10mp. This one from my last shoot, would almost match anything from my DSLR The S100 is by all accounts better, and not much over £200 in UK, could be a good replacement for your S90

Difference between flying in GPS to Atti

Basically GPS flight mode will provide position hold, ATTI will simply provide autolevelling and in the case of DJI controllers, Altitude hold. just be aware that when you initialize the FC will establish its home point at that location whether you are in GPS or ATTI mode so if you dont trust...

    Over-flying houses.

I believe that we have to always assume that MR's are inevitably going to fail and conduct our business accordingly. of course there are always methods of mitigating hazard if not risk, we can ensure redundancy in the case of a single ESC/Motor/Prop failure by using Octo's and perhaps Hexa's and...
