You'd been here last month? For tour or works?
Yes. I'm indie film maker for nature. This summer I've started to learn RC for aerial shoot.
Difficult, but fun learning. Also I'd lost well-setting hexacopter with camera one month ago.
Anyway, nice to see you. ^.^

Yeah that is pretty impressive for night shooting.. that camera seems to handle the low light conditions pretty well. Okay here some video I shot from my Wookong that I just put together in the last couple of weeks. I don’t have a camera mount yet so I just strapped it to my XY quad.

Hey Droider you and Geoff are doing some cool stuff... that is great you guys get to go and fly together. I'm loving my wookong.. its been alot of fun and so cool to fly something so smooth and stable. I still just need to learn how to set up the auto land and some of the other features.

My octocopter all most done! RTF to shoot. ^.^
I got more run time, 8-9 minutes with nanotech 5000 mah *2
Sony CX560 is nice camera in 60P and built-in stabilization.
That's enough for me.

Enjoy final test flight.

Lovely filming Wanho, love the location & the filming of the leaves works really well. One or two questions for you. When your camera LCD display closed...ddint that put your camera into standby ;) What's the power chain you are using on your octo.

Hi Ross

When cx560 LCD closed, the power of camera would be off. So I have to let the lcd on.
Power chain is just connected in parallel. Nanotech 3s 5000mah(25-50c) is good for it. Just 400g.

It's ok?

That is a great video. When you edit the video do you slow it down for the nice smooth effects?

Hi Rich

Only one shot is slow-effected by Twixtor in Final Cut Pro.
Guess what shot it is...^.^
Leaves flying on the ground.
All of others No Effects, just raw...no software stabilization.
Sony CX560 has good build-in stabilization.
But some wobbling alos in windy day.

Nice work Wanho. How do you like your camera mount? Also are you running APC slow fly props?

Here is a little video I shot last weekend with my wookong.

I forgot to ask. Were you doing some FPV on the shots that look like the Heli got quite aways from you. If so are you using 2.4 gig RC gear and how far do you get.

Thanks
Rich
