8Hi.
Helping a friend with his quad.
Its a 680 quad-frame from tarot (not hexa), cant remember the name.
Dji opto 30a esc
Tiger 770kv motors
14x5.5" props
4s lipo
Naza lite.
Approx 2.5-3kg
With default gains the quad is uncontrollable and the wobble escalates as soon as you lift off, landing is nessesary after 3-5 seconds after liftoff to avoid crashing.
We have tried different gains without luck. Remount the gps, calibrated imu and tested with 10x4.5 props. With the smaller props the quad flies, but cannot maintain direction (yaw is drifting left). Compass calibrated several times. And when giving yaw input to the right the whole quad leans towards the side and starts losing control. Left is ok.
Any ideas? Recommended gain settings?
Our only option left as i see it is to try with a kk board to see if its a fc-related issue. We will also try with 12x4.5 props, but as its hard to fly with 10" im not that optimistic it will help.
What is a good starting point for the gains? Have tried using x1 to set gains in flight with no improvement.
