I would just try playing around with them. Your getting it to twitch at 16% on the gain knob with them at the default of 1.1 on P and R?

I thought default was 1.0?

The manual shows 1.1 on all settings. I think it has become common to consider the "default" for height to be .9 (or thereabouts).
