I know people love there own kit and each have their choices.. BUT This frame is so strong and loads of room to put components on... Lets hope we get a little video up here today showing how it flys...

This is one of the kits on my short list. Especially now that they are going to offer longer arms. Not sure I would ever need them, but still,,,

this kit makes you smile everytime you look at it. the arms are so stiff, love the layout, has alot of thought behind it

I was so keen to get her flying but wanted to build her right, loads of space to put components but wanted easy access to USB ports on WKM and iOSD so took time in getting her right. The weather has been REALLY windy here and want to tune to perfection as it deserves.. I used to pick my F550 by the arms and you felt a little give, this baby is ROCK solid.. Everyone who comes in the house is just blown away with it... Lets hope tomorrow will be nice. Still got to add FPV and gimbal but I know where the cables are going so easy to add.. My 4s battery's haven't come yet so she won't be flying high just a low hover hence not adding the weight.. Not even sure if really should fly with 3s even at a couple of feet.. Will see how it feels not risking it..

Thanks guys, I think a little bit of both, before going into IT I used to build drag engines (American cars) running Nos pipes and air equipped fuel lines ect.. Guess it rubbed off on me lol.. I've enjoyed doing this build and I know I'm going to love flying her.. What a hobby... Can't wait to get the FPV going again... Surprising how much ya miss it.. Thanks for following will have some videos soon and some honest opinions of how it all runs. I'm sure it's all going to be cool..

Well got up early this morning and had to have a little fly.. The gains are all set to 100 at the moment and will tune in very soon.. The video attached is on-board using GoPro and the reason for a lot of movement is due to me testing the controls.. THIS IS THE VERY FIRST FLIGHT and she lifted off and moved around really smooth.. Adjusting gains soon and will add off-board video so you can see the beauty...

vin, swear i hear a motor outta whack. if you take the props off and id it, try spinning the prop adapter one bolt hole and feel it again.

Thats one fine rig. I adore it. Well done on being patient and building neat. Im not a fan of the flying bowls of spaghetti, wires and things all messy. This is a 10/10 for build neatness. Sorry for being lazy, what motors are you using? Im only interested in it as it looks similar to my electrics, and using 40A ESC's, Tmotors 2814-11's and 12x5's make my motors run a little warm. I'm on 4s though.

Im on Avroto 770kv, 40 amp, 12x5 and there warm as toast when I fly. My AUW is 4900g. Dont know what going on. Perhaps its the weather here, its been 36ºC to 43ºC during the days. I will try the 12x6's
