Yeah, that's the other issue. Apparently it comes with a... Silabs processor instead of an Atmel, and people have had poorer performance from ESC's with those chips than the Atmel ones, and can't upgrade the firmware. But, since this is a multirotor dedicated ESC, maybe the stock programming is better?
