Has anyone tried these on a gryphon dynamics frame? And for those using these on X8 are you use more then 2 legs?

I've seen gryphon x8's with 2 x "T" style legs and also 4 x "I" style legs. I think unless you are flying a 1400 size x8 you probably don't need the 4 leg setup.

I've had a chance to use the tarot retracts the last few days. They work flawlessly. I did order spares as I didn't expect much for $25 but like I said in a previous post they appear to be very well made and smartly designed. I don't know why 2 of the mounting holes are drilled and tapped for 3mm and the other 2 holes are drilled as 3mm clearance holes but no big deal.
If they last they could be the best value on the market.

Could one of you guys identify the plugs used on the retract wires? Are they proprietary? I need extensions because my gear legs are mounted so far apart and I just learned the hard way that they aren't the plugs I thought they were (wasted money on THAT order...)

I needed to extend as well. Don't worry about what is + or -. Just mark one wire before cutting. Then connect to extension.

Oops... crap, I just fixed the typo. I meant plugs, not plus

I thought they were JST-PH, but as I said those didn't work (they're close in design, but about 150% too large).

I was hoping to avoid that so that I could do drop-in replacements, but it looks like I might have to. Ugh.

If you have lots of time for research you could browse the DigiKey site. The generally have a dimensional drawing for the various plugs.

I spent a long time doing that last night... I THINK they're JST-ZH. Right pitch anyway according to my calipers. Unfortunately I'd have to crimp my own since I can't find any pre-built extensions, so... bleh. I think I'll just solder some extra wire onto these just to test them for a while.
