I just picked up one of these used-http://www.copterframes.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=52
seems well built, haven't mounted it yet, but I don't think a bare bone stock 550 will lift it with a nex5. I see bigger motors and arm extensions for bigger props in your future.

Hey tstrike, did you ever get around to testing that gimbal? I was just wondering what your thoughts were on it. I need to pick up a new one and this doesn't look bad for the price.
