While everyone is going bigger and heavier, I'm going the other direction.
Starting this evening, I'm building a droidworx mini 6 hexacopter.

Running small 18A mini ESC'S and 6 brand new tiger MT2208-13 motors and a ZeroTech YS X4 Navigator, this thing will be my fun fly machine.

I'm trying to keep weight low, and with an e-copter luxury brushless hero3 gimbal, should get close to 17 minutes fly time from a single 3s pack.

Why? Don't exactly know why, I guess I'm going to try and get a reasonable video result from a tiny rig.

Yep, total cuteness. I'll probably add an fpv camera to it, not sure. I'll keep an eye on the weight. I had 8 new 1000kv ntm motors come in from hobby king, but decided to shelve those for another day and get some quality small motors from tiger. I will have enough lift cabability to carry twin 8000's I'd say, for all day hovers, LOL. Probably get 40 mins on 2 batteries.

Watch this space. I'll be built this weekend, and could chuck a Naza GPS in it, but wanted to wait for the YS-X4 to arrive early next week.

Speed controllers fit snug in the frame. So excited as this was unexpected, and keeps real estate unused so far.

800g on the knocker. Need to add a Rx, Flight controller and 4000mah 3s lipo. If it's under 1700 with the gimbal also, I'll get 11 mins safe.

NIc you were a busy guy over the last day. Looks fun. Look forward to seeing some footage from that mini-beast.

I will extend the power wires from the speed controller to the PDB. Everything will be shrink tubed, and neat as a pin. I'm thinking the YS-X4 with the wifi unit and the gps will be a bit large, so will make a decision tomorrow after soldering if I'll throw in the Naza with GPS.
8inch props is the maximum size I can fit.
