Had the same problem as do most who buy this item......
1) Even though the 1st waypoint function is free, you still have to send in your controller hardware number and serial number to get the new serial number to allow GCS to recognize the controller.
2) Even if you get past this point, it is likely that you will have issues with Google Earth as the installation seems to corrupt your Google Earth program. If Google Earth no longer works by itself..... don't try to reinstall it as that will not solve the issue...... The issue is inside of your OS registry..... dig thru this forum for further instructions.
3) Once Google Earth is working again, re-install but be very cautious about doing it in the right order.
4) Even then you may still have some device driver issues to work thru.
5) Finally, once all is working at home, preload your flying site on Google Earth before travelling there.... Otherwise, when you get there, Google Earth will not show properly.
Hi GuysFor the life of me I can't get my DJI datalink receiver to be recognised as a device on my PC.I am installing the drivers from the CD, and following instructions but it just keeps saying tis not recognised. I sent it back to my dealer and he was able to use it (although he had already installed drivers from another unit). Here is a video showing what happens.
I have endlessly tried uninstalling reinstalling, disabling, enabling drivers etc but no joy. What on earth am I doing so wrong!?CheersBen
