I also own a DX8 but I now use the flight modes, 0-gps, 1-man, 2-atti - and I use 3 mixes where I mix all 3 flight modes to a force fail-save, preset fail-save is also set ... as I use a heli setup and not aircraft I cant assign anything to use IOC, which doesnt interest me on the other hand...

I have mounted mine and just tried to get failsafe to work ... hover in 1.5m distance to the ground like 10-15m off landing position, switch into failsafe, it does a slight right turn/curve in a 1m diameter and then shoots like 20m into the sky ... actually thats when I kill the throttle to...

skypup, I use turnigy 3s 3300mah (383g) and have mounted a veho muvi hd gumball to it - not an issue at all ... a chap at our club 4400mah with the go pro mounted

Back should be where his battery connector is, by the direction his naza is mounted - if that is correct and everything is setup accordingly the setup looks ok - as you need to counter steer the quad to keep its position I'd say check you transmitter for travel adjustments or any other...

well my current view on 8" with my cam doesnt have any prop in view, hence I would like to keep it that way ...

are those Gemfan fit and fly or do you need to modify them ... actually I am looking for a 8" prop that just fits without any modification but I couldnt find any as of yet ...
