    Plane avoids "drone".....AGAIN!

I agree that electronics can fail, I really don't think that is actually the big issue, I feel it is the human component. First you have the media that like to villainize inanimate objects and the millions of people that listen to them. Second, there are the people who push any limit just to see...

    Plane avoids "drone".....AGAIN!

If gps flyways keep occurring, just eliminate the gps completely, the FAA already is proposing a 200ft recreational use ceiling, manual control and line of sight. Sometimes, simpler can be better! I do agree with a software limit to altitudes, but some Flight controllers like my kk2.1.5 doesn't...

    Plane avoids "drone".....AGAIN!

On the side of political protection, we can all write our Senators and Congressmen as well as our local law makers at little to no cost.

    Plane avoids "drone".....AGAIN!

Another thing about the report I heard was quickly passed over, at JFK airport people keep aiming Green Lasers at the Jets, apparently this can be as far away as 50 miles and still be a problem. But for now the "Drones" win in the News.

    Plane avoids "drone".....AGAIN!

Real or not, the public is eating up the drama, also it could even be someone trying to keep Multirotors out of the sky. Thorax Hexacopter

Thanks, something I have learned so far is the difference between a symmetrical Hexacopter and an asymmetrical Hexacopter. The Thorax is definitely asymmetrical and after a Youtube physics lesson I have adjusted the FC mixer editor to match my motor layout and now I will be resetting my P & I...

Patiences is the best tool in the toolbox

I am still learning, to tune, to fly and my wife is learning to duck! For me patience is needed both in learning something new and waiting for an order of replacement propellers from China. What do you do when you are grounded?

    Hello from Oregon

I have been an electronic hobbyist since I was a kid, but even I get overwhelmed, I did find lots of information through Youtube and various forums. Anytime I try to do something, I first learn as much as possible. One reason is I am on a budget, secondly, it is the greatest feeling to make...
