Aeronavics / Droidworx Angle play in Skyjib X4 QR arms

Yeah I have a few degrees play in mine too - I use a flat steel bar to get it perfectly level with the opposite motor then tighten the crap out of it so it cant move anywhere. Haven't had an issues with them moving once tightened up properly but I am only using U5's

Aeronavics / Droidworx Skyjib 8 + Movi+ Toad in the Hole

I wouldn't be surprised - haven't seen any others about. Just ordered one of flyonix - hadn't come across them before got some pretty nice gear on there. Emailed them about their Skyjib parachute I wonder if that would help you get an exception with the CAA for the Sub 7kg rule?

    Sub 7kg with Movi M5

That's good to know. I thought it was on a per job basis that you could apply for an exemption only

    Sub 7kg with Movi M5

It's the only other company in the UK where you can get ur CAA RPAS qualification. I quite agree with you it makes no sense that a 7kg with 3kg of fuel is any different to 7kg with 3kg of lipos but if both CAA credited training schools are teaching this and I know they get quizzed a lot on...

    Sub 7kg with Movi M5

Same with Resource Group - according to them batteries are included in the 7kg

    Sub 7kg with Movi M5

Hey Steve, If I could stick with Skyjib I would love to but judging from what I hear about CAA & response times I think not having a sub 7kg RPA in the stable will just be too limiting. Partly the reason why I'd like to go for the Gryphon frame so its easily upgradable once thee CAA sorts...

Naza Lite - faulty or just not very good?

Cheers for the reply cootertwo, that is exactly the same problem, I'm glad I'm not the only one with the issue but sorry to hear your having to deal with it to! Please keep us posted if the GPS makes a difference otherwise I might trying sending mine back too but doubtful of any positive...

The ALL New DJI S900 Hexacopter!

Anyone have any idea if you can remove the retracts and just fly from a box? The retracts on the S800 were 875g loose that form this rig and all our sub 7kg dreams can come reality

    Sub 7kg with Movi M5

So is it possible - has anyone tried and succeeded? The sum of the parts and it looks just doable on a hexa frame with 6s 6000mah batteries but its really touch and go and in reality will probably just creep over 7kg by a few grams so might have to strip it back some more. My initial thoughts...

Naza Lite - faulty or just not very good?

So I've got 3 Naza M V2 in various crafts and they all work brilliantly - I then bought a Naza-lite (no gps) to go into a F450 I was putting together with a load of spare parts to chuck around and what a difference it is to the M. There seems to be no consistency to what angle it pitches at...

2nd Remote Control Camera Setup, what are your preffered settings

You can do the same with the movi - in the settings make full forward stick 90 degree down. I did find it creepss back a bit though so I set it to slightly more than 90 so after it creeps back it does settle on 90 degrees down

Recommend a charging station for me!

\ Ah thank you - saved me from making a massive mistake. Been looking at gene options too, think I'm gonna start with just using the van engine and fitting a bigger alternator but I'll also have the ability to plug in to an external power source to charge the batteries so on most jobs will...

Recommend a charging station for me!

Hi Benjamin, I'm just about to deck out my van with some leisure batteries and was going to go for 4 x 12v 60ah Sealed Deep Cycle batteries run in series to give an output of 48v 60ah. According to the duo 4010 manual 65ah is the max it can take - I know if I go over the max voltage it stops...

Aeronavics / Droidworx Skyjib 8 + Movi+ Toad in the Hole

I'm amazed by this - I'm using the M5 with Skyjib retracts and there is no way close to enough room to use the Toad with it - I've even had to attach some pipe lagging to use it without the Toad. Is the M10 smaller height wise to the M5 - With a Nikon D800 its about 310mm from top plate to bottom
