I've not had a problem. The only time I got these same intermittent symptoms was a loose connection in the Zenmuse HDMI lead. Replaced the lead and problem solved.

You performed a CSC and the motors started. Sounds like that was the problem. Just calibrate slightly differently next time without accidentally doing the CSC movement. Just do one stick at a time.

Just stick with the Naza for your F550. You'll probably be fine with the stock setup at that altitude. Go for 4S lipos for better efficiency and longer flight times. The 10" props should be more than enough. You may get shorter flight times than others experience, but like one minute less...

That's a complicated question. Go back to the assistant and check everything is acting as it should. Know what is supposed to happen and make sure it does. It sounds like a setup thing but without more information I couldn't guess what. Let us know how it goes.
