$40 a track seems expensive to me but the selection is awesome! Thanks for the link! I guess if the client is paying then £25 ain't so bad.

Hi, I always feel self-conscious after seeing the awesome videos on this topic but here goes. I put together a collection of some shots I did this year. Yes, my video editing skills need a lot of work and I have a hard time finding good music to sync with the videos. It's a work in progress...

Hexacopter purchase in the UK ?

I use Quadcopters.co.uk, Build Your Own Drone (BYOD.co.uk), Heliguy, firstpersonview.co.uk (for other bits) and sometimes fast-lad performance. They all deliver the next day and have excellent service. What platform to get is a whole other thing. I use a DJI S800 as it packs into a case for...

Dji f550 Naza forced RTH Help.

I just use the 3-position switch on DX7s (gyro/flap) and have the bottom position as failsafe. So that's GPS, ATTI and failsafe. Have to sacrifice manual mode though. You have to flick between GPS and ATTI a couple of times to get out of failsafe. Cool?

Zenuse GH3 strange noise from motors

Why is it moving like that? Are you giving it inputs to make it spin? Any strange noises when just idle but powered up? Is it producing vibes at all? Sorry, more questions!

    another crash with wookong

I've also been using 5.20 and loved it. 5.16 works great too. Alas I used 5.24 the other day as I wanted to try the motor test function but now they've removed 5.20 and I can't roll it back. Shame, because I need the limiting functions to operate in certain areas and 5.16 only has height. 5.20...

DJI S800. Uncommanded yaw after adding Secraft Anti-vibration arms.

Hey guys, Well I just removed the Secraft bits and all back to normal again. Flew in 15mph wind gusting up to 20mph and everything was spot on again. I decided to remove the Secraft anti-vibe arms after reading this post...

DJI S800. Uncommanded yaw after adding Secraft Anti-vibration arms.

Looks like we all replied about the same time. In answer to some of the questions, my IMU is on the anti-vibe upgrade on the landing gear. And I think I mentioned that the logs did indeed show a greater RPM on the CCW motors. The yaw did happen in cross wind just above the tree line. I have my...

DJI S800. Uncommanded yaw after adding Secraft Anti-vibration arms.

Hi mate, thanks for your reply. And your first post! I re-calibrated the compass naturally. I think my gains were a little low but that doesn't explain the CCW motors running warmer. So that does indeed leave thrust lines. I'm gonna try again tomorrow in the wind to see if it's made any...

    Resource-UAS Training

Hi mate, I've been to that course a month ago and have fully completed everything including OpsManual. I loved it! Really good course and small class sizes so lots of time to talk with the instructors. I live nearby in Amberley (next to Rodborough Common) if you fancy having a cup of tea...

ResourceUAS provided my training. Mostly ex-military so they know their stuff. Maybe time to start another thread? There's one called RPQ-S or BNUC-S? Has links and discussions.

In Europe we're trying to use the term RPAS (Remotely Pilot Aircraft System). So our craft becomes an RPA (remotely piloted aircraft) and we are RP (remote pilots). I've got an RPQ-S qualification (remote pilot qualification-small). See, it all fits together. In the UK we don't have the same...

Hey Ray, I had a shutter speed of 200 but no ND. I really need one! Still need to work on my exposure settings. It's hard to judge on the ground sometimes. What kind of settings would you use in that situation (intermittent sun and cloud)? Your advice is kindly received. Ben.
