Instead you can have the throttle stick self-centre (mine does). Open up the transmitter and adjust the springs then the throttle stick behaves like the cyclic stick. There's online tutorials for many transmitters.

Most OSD's should do that, although they show the battery voltage rather than a percentage. If you get one with a current sensor they will show the exact amount you have taken out of a lipo (in mah).

Yeah, I've also put a few hundred hours through mine and have had a similar experience to you, although the two times I've lost a motor I just brought it in to land and popped a new arm on (I blamed the ESC to be honest). I have my yaw gain at 130% so I guess that's not the issue then. I hope...

You would use a lipo checker. Or an OSD to view in-flight.

I just wired mine straight to the main power cables and didn't use the extra connectors or anything. It's just the voltage you're measuring so the gauge of wire isn't important. Think of it like touching the main power cables with a multimeter, getting a reading rather than having the current...

You can't take stills at the same time as video with the GH series and a Zenmuse. It's one or the other. As Kloner said, set to M (manual photo) and then take stills.
