Aeronavics / Droidworx DroidWorx Show Reels / Production Videos

The real kudos needs to go to Clay Porter. He is a truly brilliant film maker. This was the first time he's had an extended exposure to multirotors and he seems to have enjoyed the experience. A different perspective I guess. We were pleased with just how many aerial shots he used to emphasise...

REDBULL Four by Three series finale. Just seen the results a a couple of days in wales last month working with some good friends. I'm quietly pleased! All aerial work supplied in 1080/50 and integrated into RED epic footage @ 24p. Can't wait for next year. Shot on ADX3 Y6...

Airport X rays and the trouble they cause ....

Interesting ... is it just us or is this a more widespread problem. A lot of MK systems are getting a little aged now, I wonder if it's a late life problem. If so, it does point to possible static damage during construction. As you say, it's an awkward problem and catch anyone out at any time.

A very sensible article in New Scientist this week

Just in time to balance the sensationalist BBC broadcast posted by others today comes a far more rational article in New Scientist UK, out today. Nice read but not too groundbreaking. Unfortunately it is not yet available on line. I expect the regional versions of New Scientist will carry to...

    BBC today

Andrewrob... It was also on News Night and had the same 'expert' discussing things. There is a simple solution to 'privacy' worries, If the CAA asked for a privacy statement to be included in your ops manual then it would be a condition of retaining your permission to operate. Overstep the mark...

    They shoot LiPo's don't they ?

Yep hence the argument I had with the senior supervisor of an airline who insisted that the batteries I was travelling with should be checking in for the hold. It took him phoning Heathrow to check. His sheepish look when he told me i was correct was very satisfying! Security was yet another...

    They shoot LiPo's don't they ?

the real reason was we had quite literally ran out of things to shoot. even the pot of jam purchased earlier in the day was sacrificed. we hadn't even opened it! The lipo was defiantly the most fun though. Lec

What do you do when that long serving faithful old LiPo comes to the end of it's working days ? It was either put it out to pasture or this ....... Unfortunately it was a long slow death. Lec

    British MR fliers UNITE

Its an offshoot of this group, http://www.uavs.org/ . A talking shop for the big guys, probably does involve secret handshakes and toasting the chairman. A bit too serious for us AP guys, if they talked of fly-ins and workshops it would probably look less clinical. Sort of suspect they were...

Airport X rays and the trouble they cause ....

Ovdt ... I too have travelled by air a lot and never knowingly had problems due to Xrays on everyday electronic items or specialised electronic pcbs but I've always had a little mistrust of the machines and their operators. Their job is to make sure nothing untoward gets on an airliner, if this...
