    Long case for folding frame

I'm getting a custom case with foam for my carbon core 950 from Philly Cases. Should be done in about a week or so. I was looking at the 1770 before but this ended up being cheaper and able to fit exactly what I need. The peli case will be water proof however which is a nice touch for going to...

    Defy Gimbal

Did you think the Besteady results were better? This is also only the launch video, they might have more pictures soon.

    Defy Gimbal

Ok, 5lb version footage released. They certainly didn't push its limits with this first video, and there are some slight bumps, however its still looking good. I'd like to see this thing on a MR. https://vimeo.com/71363086

    Defy Gimbal

Ya besteady looks good too, but the test footage with the 5d looks shaky. I haven't seen test footage from the defy with 5d so it's too soon to say of the defy will be better. I think the g5 version is 3200 which is less then the zenmuse. I also think the wiring is pretty neatly done on this...

    Defy Gimbal

This to me seems like one of the more promising brushless gimbal out there. They only have footage from their 2lb payload version but it looks great to me, and they are releasing a 5 lb version soon. What do you think? https://vimeo.com/70140431

Tips to flying 2 axis gimbals + question on video out for H3-2D

I'm flying a naza f450 with the new H3-2D and have not been impressed with my pan, which is my flying i guess. I plan on putting the gimbal on a hexa which might help, but do you guys lower your rudder response on the transmitter to help dull down the yaw? I would also think lower the yaw gain...

Looking for a case for a Carbon Core 950

Anyone have any ideas on casing options for a carboncore 950. I looked at the Pelican case 1770 long which seems like the best option, but maybe some people have other input on other brands that might be cheaper or just better suited for this purpose. Thanks...

    Brand New APC 15x4 props

I have 8 15x4 APC props (4 pairs), they were used once on a quick indoor test flight but found not to provided enough thrust for my particular set up. I have no use for them, so make an offer and they are yours.

Prop Talk, APC's 14 vs 15s flight performance.

I think I may have figure it out and its a real dummy move, which is often the case when I have these brain busters, but non the less talking it out indirectly lead to the possible solution. I don't know exactly how much the bird ways but I would say between 10-15 pounds, I will check today when...

Prop Talk, APC's 14 vs 15s flight performance.

So we have come full circle. In my original post I stated that I was getting very erratic behavior when I switched props on my wkm system. After adjusting the one parameter I have control over I was not able to improve the symptoms. I learned something about open source FC but not much about...

Prop Talk, APC's 14 vs 15s flight performance.

Thanks for the reply. The wkm doesn't allow for adjusting those parameters as far as I know. The most you can dive into fine tuning is with motor mixing and gains on each channel. But I will look more deeply to see if there is a wkm order of tuning. Thanks again,

Prop Talk, APC's 14 vs 15s flight performance.

Haha, well I've been flying Helis and MR for a little bit so I know what you mean about the endless tuning. What I am talking about is the the hexa being way out of wack with the 15"s, and rotating the gain knob was having little to no effect on the symptoms. I thought my center if gravity...
