    RMRC 700 Camera placement

Route the camera wiring away from the GPS and there should not be any potential issue. A board or surveillance cam is not usually a radiating issue.

    Mounting hardware for Tarot 680Pro?

Drill new holes or obtain some G-10 or carbon plate to cut new mounting plates better suited for your motors. It's not hard, just time consuming.

    Interesting experience!

We will continue to see an increase of this until people once again become self reliant.

Carbon Fiber - have I gone too far?

Think a pimple on your a$$ is irritating? Wait until you get a carbon micro splinter in the same place. Misery!

    Tarot T810 Build

How's everything working out in the warmer weather? The twin receiver set up was a good idea.

    This could go horribly wrong.....

It does look cool. The square tube arms are quite practical, making for easy to obtain replacement if damaged. They also allow for a lot of length experimentation if desired. Looks like a little imagination will be in order when mounting motors though.

    Beware of our legislators

It's supported by every group that stands to lose revenue to drone operators. http://www.globallegalpost.com/big-stories/drone-sector-could-be-stifled-by-proposed-us-safety-bill-205079/

$125 Tarot ZYX-M Flight Control - Had to try it.

Not intending to misdirect but have any of you tried the Eagle Tree Vector yet? It's working out pretty well on an 810. Way point navigation looks to be on the near horizon and the OSD is outstanding.

Want to try build one quadcopter

What kind of flying would you prefer to do, racing or aerial video?

    This could go horribly wrong.....

Considering you want to fly low and fast something a little smaller might be more prudent. Record video if desired from something like an 800TVL FPV cam instead of an under slung and expensive gimbaled Go Pro. Banging into the ground or other natural fixed obstacles is pretty common in the...

    Equipment storage

I would not store batteries with anything else I wanted to keep.... Remotes and similar do well in Pelican or similar cases. Treat the stuff like professional equipment instead of like a junk drawer in the garage and things will function as they should a lot longer.

$125 Tarot ZYX-M Flight Control - Had to try it.

All it has to do is function reliably, provide solid control stability, and always come home when it's told to, and have good customer support. Way point navigation would be a bonus. If all of the first four points were in place it would be more than competitive with DJI.

    Beware of our legislators

Seems like our legislators are making individual moves to enact legislation that will impact us all. http://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/2015/6/feinstein-introduces-bill-to-improve-safety-of-consumer-drones

Tarot X6 crash - lesson learned

Perhaps the reason is sales volume. It might be hard to justify investing a lot of time and money into developing a product that may not generate enough sales to recover the investment and turn a reasonable profit. Gimbals for cameras larger than a Go Pro are not big in sales quantity, and...

Power cable ground - copter ?

It's very much possible. Tethered flight has been done many times and has been the difference between a super long duration heavy lifter and basic heavy lift of very limited duration. The downside is being limited to a fixed location. Wire size will be determined largely by the length of the...

    60/65% throttle hover more effecient

ESC's function at best efficiency when run at full throttle. Although most efficient the current increases dramatically, in turn running down the battery much faster. What you gain from the ESC is offset many times over from what you lost in flight time because of battery drain. It's all a...
