Yuneec is days away from shipping their new Typhoon H to their customers and it appears DJI does not like competition. What's really irritating is that I am one of those that pre-ordered a Typhoon H...
John over at Addictive RC was handling some of this type of work for one state or another. He's out of Tucson, AZ. Steadidrone makes a quad that's just about ideal for it.
I made the mistake of not better reviewing the limitations. For most users the tool would be effective.
Understand that we work with both single propeller fixed wing and very large multirotors, both of which use propulsion systems and propellers that exceed the 5kgf limitation by considerable...
It's the legal limit for most. It's not if you operate under a military level CoA. Both the hardware and software require considerable alteration for heavy stuff testing. It's fine for the small and average size designs but not for anything that carries serious weight.
We do, and have absolute trust in the system's reliability. When our systems go up they put many hundreds of thousands of $ of payload in the air. The Pixhawk also allows tremendous software modification for the flexibility necessary to perform tasks/operations specialized for the design...

Back in the day U.S. Futaba manuals were written by a brilliant techno geek named Don Edberg. Don't know what happened to him but back then the manuals were comprehensive and complete, with one section flowing logically into the next. Man, those were nice to work with! That's not the case...
Too little information. Number of flights to date, build process, etc., are all needed to form an opinion. You called out one item incorrectly installed, what else might be installed incorrectly? Props too?
